Solid cup of coffee, great service. Rye toast. Pay at the counter. Would recommend.
Reflections: I’m on the fence about rye toast. Rye tastes great with coffee but I wonder if white is better with the meal. I forgot the eating order of the order – if you start with the steak, you burn your mouth. Eating order is start with 1 egg & 1 slice of toast, then the steak + 3/4 potatoes, final egg & toast, remaining homefries. I also need to remember to slow down while I’m eating. I am not happy with the picture. I don’t know my camera well enough so I’m considering shooting these on my phone in the future. I’ll consider a new lens for my camera if using my phone doesn’t produce good results.
2/20/2025 – Sunny’s Family Diner
Bustling. Cozy. What is this here orange. Burnt my tongue on the 2nd cup of coffee. Biscuits instead of toast. Pay at the counter. Super fast.
Reflections: Taking a picture in portrait mode on my phone came out just as good as if I tried to learn to use my dSLR better. I read a little about being assertive (in opposition of being aggressive or passive). I may or may not have put orange marmalade on a biscuit dipped in yolk in honor of the garnish orange slice. For some reason, the word & feeling of “flowery” kept coming to mind. There’s probably something deep down about a flower art project. This will require further reflection.

Solid. Franks in a squirt bottle. Great service. Very balanced serving size. Pay at counter.
Reflections: All I can think about is the suffering of my family. And deciding that they wouldn’t want me to suffer too. Or even for them. I’m trying to live the best life I can.
